On 13 December 1722, he married Lucy Werden ( the eldest daughter and coheir of Sir John Werden, 2nd Baronet ) and they had two children:

He had married Fanny, the daughter and coheir of Sir John Turner, 3rd Baronet of Warham, with whom he had 2 sons and 3 daughters.

Elizabeth's father, Nathaniel Bacon, also had no surviving sons, making Elizabeth coheir to her father's estate, along with the young Thomas III.

Sir Robert and his wife Amelia, daughter and coheir of Sir Horace Mann, 2nd Baronet; had no children, and thus the baronetcy became extinct on his death.

The justice married Mabel de Limesy, daughter of Gerard de Limesy, and coheir with her sisters of their brother John de Limesy, with the marriage taking place in 1200.

On his return he retired to the manor of Albyns in Essex, which had been inherited by his wife Magdalen, daughter and coheir of Sir John Wood, Clerk of the Signet.

He married : Margaret Bardfield, who died in 1539, daughter and coheir of John Bardfield of Shenfield, Essex, and widow of Robert Gedge ( d . 1528 / 31 ) of London.

Thomas Hey married first Ethelreda, eldest daughter and coheir of dean Lynch, by whom he has no surviving children; and secondly, Mrs . Pugett, widow of Mr . Puget, of London.

His daughter and coheir Eleanor was married to John Leche III, claimed by some to have been a younger brother of the Leche family of Chatsworth, and the manor of Nether Carden was vested in her.

On 20 September 1775 he married Seymour Dorothy Fleming, the younger daughter and coheir of Sir John Fleming, 1st Baronet, of Brompton Park, Middlesex, and his wife, Lady Jane Fleming ( died 1811 ).
