NAS has a selection of archival materials available for viewing by the public, including public records, building plans, oral history recordings, photographs, electronic records and an audio-visual collection of microfilms, films, videotapes, colour slides, negatives and maps.

Over the following 25 years, Bartlett carved and dressed numerous sculpted dolls ( about 15 have survived ), and created a photographic record of them which amounts to about 200 B & W photographic prints and 17 colour slides.

As of 1996, the Centre's collection contained " approximately 2500 hours of audio tape, 2300 hours of video tape, twenty-three hours of 16-millimetre film footage, thirty hours of 8-millimetre film footage, 3000 early ( up to 1950s ) black-and-white photographs, and around 4000 colour slides, colour negatives and black-and-white negatives ".

As constituted, the Club was'to promote scientific study and investigation, and especially to explore the district for the purpose of inquiring into its geology, botany, natural history, archaeology & c .'These pursuits continue to this day, with digital projection having taken over from the colour slides which themselves replaced the Magic Lantern.
