My column yesterday, “ Converts to Terrorism ,” delved into the issue of converts to Islam who engage in terrorism. Space constraints limited the information I could include, so here, I add to it in three ways: (1) providing names of converts suspected, arrested, or indicted of terrorism but who have not yet either gone into action or been convicted; (2) reviewing the matter of non-terrorist jihadi s; and (3) summarizing a French intelligence report on converts to Islam. और धर्मान्तरित आतंकवादी कल के अपने स्तंभ “ आतंकवाद की ओर धर्मान्तरित ” में मैंने उस मुद्दे की खोज की थी . जो इस्लाम में धर्मान्तरित होकर आतंकवाद के कार्य में लिप्त हैं. स्थानाभाव के कारण वहां कुछ और जानकारियां न दे सका जिन्हें यहां प्रस्तुत कर रहा हूं.यहां तीन प्रकार से इन्हें प्रस्तुत किया जा रहा है .

The unrest marks a deeply important development with permanent implications. Turkey has become a more open and liberal country, one in which leaders face democratic constraints as never before. But how much it changes the role of Islam in Turkey depends primarily on the economy. China-like material growth has been the main achievement of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the party he heads, the AKP. Personal income has more than doubled in the decade that he has been in power, changing the face of the country. As a visitor to Turkey since 1972, I have seen the impact of this growth in almost every area of life, from what people eat to their sense of Turkish identity. That impressive growth explains the AKP's increased share of the national vote in its three elections , from 34 percent in 2002 to 46 percent in 2007 to a shade under 50 percent in 2011. Finally, worrisome signs exist of a growing radicalization among American-born children of immigrants. Space constraints keep from listing the many instances here, but two recent cases come to mind: Ahmed Omar Abu Ali (convicted in November of belonging to Al Qaeda and plotting to kill George W. Bush; he could be sentenced to life in prison) and Ali Tamimi (jailed for life in July for recruiting volunteers to go to terrorist training camps abroad). Parents worry about this trend; Achmed Habib , who identifies himself as an American Muslim father, wrote to an Islamist forum asking for help dissuading his son from seeking martyrdom as his two brothers did before him. एकरमैन सोचते हैं कि अमेरिका के मुसलमानों ने कुछ आतंकवादी हमले किए हैं. वास्तव में 1980 के बाद उन्होंने हमलों के प्रयास किए हैं और उसमें शामिल रहे हैं . उनके बारे में जानकारी इसलिए कम हो पाती है क्योंकि सज़ा देने वाले उनपर आतंकवादी होने का लेबल नहीं लगाते और मीडिया उनकी उपेक्षा करता है . लेकिन वे हैं..11 सितंबर से पहले ऐसे 12 हमले अमेरिका की धरती पर किए गए . भले ही उनमें लोगों की हत्यायें न हुई हों या उन्हें टाला जा सका हो. 11 सितंबर के बाद से ऐसे अनेक हमले हुए हैं जिनमें अमेरिका के मुस्लिम आतंकवादियों की भूमिका रही है.
