The reason I've addressed the issue incorporating language is that it is the much more heavily studied of the two phenomena in terms of neuroscience and cognitive science broadly ( though neurological and psychological studies of music aren't exactly unheard of either ), to we understand how the critical period works in language acquisition especially, and some of those lessons can be carried over.
