The Indian Independence Act , 1947 , declared the Constituent Assembly of India to be a fully sovereign body and on the midnight of 14-15 August 1947 , the Assembly assumed full powers of the governance of the country . भारतीय स्वतंत्रता अधिनियम , 1947 में भारत की संविधान सभा को पूर्ण प्रभुसत्ता संपन्न निकाय घोषित Zकिया गया और 14-15 अगस्त , 1947 की मध्य रात्रि को उस सभा ने देश का शासन चलाने की पूर्ण शक्तियां ग्रहण कर लीं .
