So the first question is whether there's any traversable-wormhole geometry whose energy-momentum distribution resembles any known form of matter, and the answer to that is no . ( I think there's a theorem to that effect . ) Even if it were yes, it doesn't follow that you can construct a wormhole by deploying matter in the required configuration, because GR doesn't tell you whether the two ends connect up, and I have trouble even imagining a post-GR dynamics that would allow for such a thing .-- BenRG 11 : 45, 9 October 2007 ( UTC)
