Under article 213 , the Governor may promulgate ordinances during the period when the House or both the Houses where there are two Houses of State Legislature are not in session . अनुच्छेद 213 के अनुसार राज्यपाल उस अवधि के दौरान अध्यादेश जारी कर सकता है जब विधान सभा अथवा दोनों सदनों का ( जहां विधानमंडल के दोनों सदन हों ) सत्र न चल रहा हो .

In October 1993 two Election Commissioners were appointed and by an ordinance given the same position and status as the Chief Election Commissioner . अक़्टूबर , 1993 में एक अध्यादेश के द्वासरा दो निर्वाचन आयुक़्त नियुक़्त किये गये थे , जिन्हें वही स्थिति तथा हैसियत प्रदान की गई थाई , जो मुख़्य निर्वाचन आयुक़्त को प्राप्त थी .

The legislative powers of the Governor-General were removed and power was conferred on him to promulgate ordinances only in case of emergency for the peace and good government of the Dominion . गवर्नर-जनरल की विधायी शक्तियां समाप्त कर दी गईं और उसे यह शक्ति प्रदान की गई कि वह डौमिनियन कीशांति एवं अच्छे प्रशासन के लिए केवल आपात स्थिति में अध्यादेश प्रख़्यापित कर सकता है .

By this way any ordinance can not be continued more than 6 months + 6 week without permission of assembly. 1. प्रत्येक जारी किया हुआ अध्यादेश संसद के दोनो सदनो द्वारा उनके सत्र शुरु होने के 6 हफ्ते के भीतर स्वीकृत करवाना होगा इस प्रकार कोई अध्यादेश संसद की स्वीकृति के बिना 6 मास + 6 सप्ताह से अधिक नही चल सकता है

Every Presidential Ordinance , Proclamation of Emergency and Proclamation of the failure of constitutional machinery in a State must be placed before both Houses of Parliament -LRB- articles 123 , 352 -LRB- 4 -RRB- and 356 -LRB- 4 -RRB- -RRB- . अनिवार्य है कि हर राष्ट्रपतीय अध्यादेश , आपात की घोषणा तथा राज्य में संवैधानिक तंत्र की विफलता की घोषणा संसद के दोनों सदनों के समक्ष प्रस्तुत की जाए [अनुच्छेद 123 , 352 ( 4 ) तथा 356 ( 4 ) ] .

Every promulgated ordinance has to be passed in both the houses of the parliament in 6 weeks after the start of their sessions in this manner any ordinance without the passing in the parliament cannot survive beyond 6 months + 6 weeks 1. प्रत्येक जारी किया हुआ अध्यादेश संसद के दोनो सदनो द्वारा उनके सत्र शुरु होने के 6 हफ्ते के भीतर स्वीकृत करवाना होगा इस प्रकार कोई अध्यादेश संसद की स्वीकृति के बिना 6 मास + 6 सप्ताह से अधिक नही चल सकता है
