The study emphasizes bringing Israel into the Alliance as “an extremely important step,” and it endorses Japan and Australia for full membership. I might propose, in addition, Taiwan, South Korea, and Chile. To encourage other, struggling, states, the study suggests an associate membership for countries like Colombia and India. To which I suggest that Mexico and Sri Lanka could join their ranks. एफ ए ई एस ने एक बिन्दु को कुछ अस्पष्ट ही रखा है परन्तु संकेत किया है कि संयुक्त राष्ट्रसघ के स्थान पर नाटो को प्रमुख विश्व संस्था का स्थान लेना चाहिये. जैसे-जैसे संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघ नीचे स्तर से और कमजोर हो रहा है यह आवश्यक हो गया है कि अन्तरराष्ट्रीय संगठन को परिपक्व अंदाज में अपनी सदस्यता लोकतन्त्रिक देशों तक ही सीमित रखनी चाहिये.

When intermittent Palestinian violence turned in September 2000 into all-out war, Israelis finally awoke from seven years of wishful thinking and acknowledged Oslo's disastrous handiwork. But they have not yet figured with what to replace it. Likewise, the U.S. government, with the collapse of its Mahmoud Abbas gambit last week, finds its “road map” diplomacy in disarray, and it now too needs new thinking. In the spirit of Oslo's 10 th anniversary, I propose a radically different approach for the next decade: रह -रह कर चलने वाली फिलीस्तीनी हिंसा जब सितंबर 2000 में संपूर्ण युद्ध में परिवर्तित हो गई तो अन्तत: सात साल के कल्पना लोक से इजरायल उतरा और ओस्लो के विनाश को पहचाना । परंतु उन्होंने अभी यह निश्चित नहीं किया है कि इसका स्थान कौन लेगा । इसी प्रकार अमेरिकी सरकार के महमूद अब्बास के जुए के पतन के बाद इसकी “रोडमैप “ कूटनीति भी भंवर में फंस गई है और अब इसे नये विचारों की आवश्यकता है ।

With regard to trade disputes , the Bombay Government propose legislation to ensure that no reduction in wages or other change in the conditions of employment to the disadvantage of the workers should take place till they have had sufficient time and opportunity for having the facts and merits of the proposed change examined and all avenues of peaceful settlement of the dispute explored , either through the channel of voluntary negotiation , conciliation or arbitration , or by the machinery of the law . बंबई सरकार मालिक और मजदूरों के बीच झगड़ों के बारे में एक कानून बनाना चाहती है , जिससे वेतन या नौकरी की शर्तों में कोई ऐसी तब्दीली , जो मजदूरों के खिलाफ पड़ती हो , तब तक नहीं की जा सके जब तक कि उन्हें इसके बारे में सभी आंकड़ों वगैरह की जांच कराने और झगड़े को शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से निपटाने का पूरा पूरा मौका और वक़्त न मिल चुका हो , चाहे वह स्वेच्छापूर्वक आपसी बातचीत , सलाह-मशविरे या पंचाट के जरिये हो या अदालतों द्वारा किया जाये .
