This was followed in 1910 by the monthly " Zentralblatt f�r Psychoanalyse " edited by Adler and Stekel, in 1911 by " Imago ", a journal devoted to the application of psychoanalysis to the field of cultural and literary studies edited by Rank and in 1913 by the " Internationale Zeitschrift f�r Psychoanalyse ", also edited by Rank.

Literary critic Jean-Marie Apostolid�s psychoanalysed " The Shooting Star ", describing it as " the final attempt of the foundling [ i . e . Tintin ] to rid himself of the bastard [ i . e . Haddock ] and to preserve the integrity of his former values ", pointing out that the first thirteen pages are devoted purely to the boy reporter.

In a 1982 paper published in the journal " Zeitschrift f�r Psychosomatische Medizin und Psychoanalyse ", Ehebald and Werthmann report that, following a review of the scientific literature, they found " no on-going reports of primal therapy's therapeutic results, no statistical studies and no follow-up studies . " Concluding that primal therapy is not a valid therapeutic technique, they stated that most psychotherapists in the Federal Republic of Germany believe it to be questionable in theory and dangerous in practice.

Among his more than 80 books are dozens of titles presenting non-moralistic reinterpretations of nearly all biblical texts, including a monumental three-volume scholarly treatise on Genesis 2-11 ( " Strukturen des B�sen ", 1977-8 ) and a two-volume commentary on the Gospel of Mark; a number of titles on urgent social issues such as war ( " Der Krieg und das Christentum ", 1981 ), the environment ( " Der t�dliche Fortschritt ", 1982 ), and burning moral issues such as abortion, living will, suicide ( " Psychoanalyse und Moraltheologie ", 1982-4, 3 vols ); and, most recently, half a dozen volumes on the question of God in light of the findings of modern anthropology ( 1998 ), biology ( 1999 ), cosmology ( 2002 ), neurology ( 2006 2007 ); a depth psychological analysis of more than twenty of the most well-known fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm and one by Hans Christian Andersen.
