In 1925 Winchester was the first woman to complete a Th . D . ( Doctor of Theology ) degree from the divinity school of Drew University in Madison, New Jersey . for her dissertation entitled : " The Psychological Terms of the New Testament : Their Source and Content . " Winchester " excelled in Latin, Greek, and Hebrew, and had a reading knowledge of French and German.
