Women in the region have begun the practice of dairy co-operatives, which allows them to price milk at higher prices through the aid of capacity building programs organized via Self Help Groups ( SHG s ) established by SFT . The co-operative has provided saving opportunities, which resulted in a profit accumulation of Rs 50, 000 in one year.
