:: : Yes, I'm surprised that Microsoft omit " curtilage " from their spelling dictionary ( as do other electronic dictionary providers ) because it is actually an older word than cartilage, going back to the thirteenth century, according to the OED . I've just added " curtilage " to two custom dictionaries.
