In his autobiography, Akbar has written - If I had developed this intellectual insight earlier, I would have never abducted any woman for my harem. अपनी जीवनी में अकबर ने स्वयं लिखा है- यदि मुझे पहले ही यह बुधिमत्ता जागृत हो जाती तो मैं अपनी सल्तनत की किसी भी स्त्री का अपहरण कर अपने हरम में नहीं लाता।

We had not bred a generation of young men who hijacked aeroplanes and crashed them into buildings , killing thousands of innocent people because of some imagined grievance . हमने ऐसे युवा नहीं तैयार किए थे जो किसी बेमानी-सी मांग को लेकर विमानों का अपहरण करें और उन्हें इमारतों से टकराकर हजारों बेकसूर लगों की जान ले लें .
