The Advocate General however added that the accused was a man of high educational qualifications and from his writings an acknowledged leader . Thus the harm that was likely to be caused was greater . because the writings were by an educated man and not by some obscure man . एडवोकेट जनरल ने यह भी कहा कि अभियुकऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-त एक उचऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-च शिक्षा प्रापऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-त वऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-यकऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-ति और अपनी रचनाओं के कारण एक लोकप्रिय नेता है . अतः ये लेख जऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-यादा हानिकारक हैं , कऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-योंकि उनका लेखक कोऋ गुमनाम वऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-यकऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-ति नहीं , बलऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-कि एक शिक्षित वऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-यकऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-ति है .

It would not be worth my while to read to the Assistant Advocate General a lesson in constitutional law and to prove to him that the logic of the inherent sanction of the majority is irrefutable and the fear of a revolutionary upheaval against the rule of a minority , whether consisting of many or of one , is the basis of democracy and of a secure and stable government . ” यह मेरे लिए उचित नहीं होगा कि ” में सहायक एडवोकेट जनरल को संवैधानिक कानून का पाठ पढऋआऊं या उनके सामने यह साबित करूं कि बहुसंखऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-यक का ' अंतर्निहित अनुमोदन ' अकाट्य है और अलऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-पसंखऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-यक की हुकूमत के खिलाफ ऋआंतिकारी संघर्ष का भय ही , चाहे वह एक का हो या अनेक का , लोकतंत्र और सुरक्षिर्तसंरक्षित सरकार का आधार है .

In reply to the speech of the Assistant Advocate General , Asaf Ali said : ” The learned Assistant Advocate General appeared to have a very queer notion of democracy and full responsible government and the length to which he went in trying to ridicule both , and also the light-hearted manner in which he tried to prove that responsible government is no better than autocracy , proved that he was wholly innocent of even the rudimentary conception of the constitutional theory of democracy . सहायक एडवोकेट जनरल के भाषण के जवाब में आसफ अली ने कहा : ” विद्वान सहायक एडवोकेट जनरल लोकतंत्र और उत्तरदायी सरकार की अनोखी धारणा रखते है.उन्होंने जिस प्रकार दोनों का मजाक उड़ाया और हंसी-हसी में जिस तरह यह साबित करने की कोशिश की कि उत्तरदायी सरकार निरंकुश सरकार से भिन्न नहीं होती , वह इस बात का प्रमाण है कि वह लोकतंत्र के संवैधानिक सिद्धांतो की प्रारंभिक अवधारणा तक से पूर्णत : अपरिचित हैं .

The Assistant Advocate General had justified the purchase of Kashmir under the Treaty of Amritsar by quoting instances to which Asaf AH replied : ” The Assistant Advocate General then passed on to a disquisition on what he imagined were principles of the International Law of today and inspite of the court 's hints intended to restrain him , he took nearly an hour or longer reading from Historian 's History of World and Hall 's International Law . सहायक एडवोकेट जनरल ने अमृतसर-संधि द्वारा कश्मीर को खरीद लेने को कुछ उदाहरण देकर न्यायसम्मत ठहराया था.इसके जवाब में आसफ अली ने कहा : ” ZZZ इफर सहायक एडवोकेट जनरल ने एक प्रबंध पेश करना शुरू किया , जो उनके ख़्याल से आधुनिक अंतराष्ट्रीय कानून के नियमों पर आधारित था.अदालत द्वारा उन्हें संयम रखने के संकेत देने के बावजूद , उन्होंने एक घंटे या उससे भी ज़्यादा देर तक हिस्टोरियन के ' हिस्ट्री आफ वर्ल्ड ' तथा हाल के ' इंटरनेशनल ला ' ग्रंथों से पढ़ना जारी रखा .
