On the way, Bharat mistook Hanuman as a Rakshasa and hit him with an arrow which got Hanuman knocked out. But when Bharat realized his mistake, he made a vehicle of his arrow to send Hanuman back to Lanka. मार्ग में हनुमान को राक्षस होने के सन्देह में भरत ने बाण मार कर मूर्क्षित कर दिया परन्तु यथार्थ जानने पर अपने बाण पर बिठा कर वापस लंका भेज दिया।
