The Government announced in the 2002 Budget that £5 million per annum would be made available to fund transport solutions for jobseekers in the 63 areas covered by Action Teams for Jobs. It also announced personalised travel planning services in Jobcentres to help jobseekers find out how to get to jobs. सरकार ने 2002 के बजट में घोषणा की है कि हर वर्ष £5 मिलियन ऐक्शन टीम के 63 इलाकों में नौकरियाँ ढुँढने के ढंग सीखने में मदद देने के लिए खास निजी ट्रांस्पोर्ट की व्यवस्था करने की घोषणा भी की गई है ।

The per capita availability of foodgrains has risen in the country from 350 gm in 1951 to about 500 gm per day now, of milk from less than 125 gm to 210 gm per day and of eggs from 5 to 30 per annum despite the increase in population from 35 crores to 95 crores. जनसंख्या में ३५ करोड़ से ९५ करोड़ की वृद्धि के बावजूद देश में खाद्यान्न की प्रतिव्यक्ति उपलब्धता १९५१ में ३५० ग्राम से अब लगभग ५०० ग्राम प्रतिदिन, दूध की १२५ ग्राम से २१० ग्राम प्रतिदिन और अंडों की ५ से ३० प्रति वर्ष बढ़ गयी है।
