Yet Johnston, like a fair number of his fellow Democrats and like more Republicans than one would expect, thinks Clinton has a good chance to win a second term, largely because he believes the Republicans may come a cropper with the electorate once voters appreciate the impact of proposed cuts in Medicare and once the presidential primary fights heat up.
