The Vedas were mainly compiled by Vyasa Krishna Dwaipayana around the time of Lord Krishna (c. 1500 BC) .It was divided into four and were taught to four pupils. द्वापरयुग की समाप्ति के समय श्रीकृष्णद्वैपायन वेदव्यास जी ने यज्ञानुष्ठान के उपयोग को दृष्टिगत उस एक वेद के चार विभाग कर दिये और इन चारों विभागों की शिक्षा चार शिष्यों को दी।

Third Khalifa (Prophet) Hazrat Usmaan, his powered time compiled Quran by Hazrat Zidhiki Akbar was send 9 copies to different countries of the world and two of them are fully secured now. तृतीय ख़लीफ़ा हज़रत उस्मान (रज़ि.) ने अपने सत्ता समय में हज़रत सि¬द्दीक़े अकबर (रज़ि.) द्वारा संकलित क़ुरआन की ९ प्रतियां तैयार करके कई देशों में भेजी थी उनमें से दो क़ुरान की प्रतियां अभी भी पूर्ण सुरक्षित हैं।

After revising the belief in gods in such a way as to accommodate all sects and all classes , the stories current among the people about the creation of the world , the life of gods and the rule of kings were collected and compiled under the title of Puranas . देवताओं पर आसऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-था को नया रूप इस प्रकार से देने के बाद , कि सभी पंथ और सभी वर्गो का समावेश हो सके , संसार की रचना , देवताओं के जीवन तथा राजाओं के शासन के संबध में , लोगों में प्रचऋलित कहानियों को एकत्रित और सग्रहीत किया गया पुराणो के नाम से .
