On detection of complications , currently available measures of treatment can be sought . Addition of suitable drugs for control of hypertension and hyperlipidaemia , photocoagulation for retinopathy , angioplasty or bypass surgery for coronary artery disease , dialysis or kidney transplantation are now available for end stage renal disease . आजकल उच्च रक़्तचाप और उच्च वसा स्तर के नियंत्रण के लिए उपयुक़्त दवाइयां , रेटिनौपैथी के लिए प्रकाश स्कंदन,ह्दय की धमनियों की बीमारी के लिए बाई-पास शल्य-चिकित्सा और गुर्दों की अंतिम अवस्थ की बीमारी के लिए डायलिसिस तथा मुर्दा प्रत्यारोप उपलब्ध हैं .
