Under the new oil deregulation law, oil companies have been given the freedom to set the wholesale posted prices ( WPP ) of petroleum products using the change in the crude landed cost method which includes the cost of imported crude oil, ocean freight, insurance, ocean loss, customs duties, customs fees and wharfage fees.
