Another mystified Cassini mission scientist is Jonathan I . Lunine, a geophysicist and professor of planetary sciences at the University of Arizona, who reminded reporters that 24 years ago the spacecraft called Voyager 1 flew past Titan for the first time and established that the moon had a dense atmosphere-- mainly nitrogen and probably with some methane-- and that was about all anyone knew about Titan until now.
