In the year 1994 the Institute discontinued its B . Sc . Tech . course & in its place introduced a new B . Tech . course in Chemical Technology with specialization in Petrochemical Technology, Food Technology, Pulp & Paper Technology, Oil Technology and Plastic & Polymer Technology.
