Posponement- Any session can be brought into a small halt by its chair man in the middle of the session. This neither end the session nor ends the pending work of the Parliament. These proceedings and powers are exercised not only for the suit pending before the particular court but also to help arbitration proceedings since the arbitrator , not being a court , has no such powers . ये कार्यवाइयां और शक्तियां केवल किसी विशिष्ट न्यायालय के समक्ष लंबित विवाद के लिए ही नहीं अमल में लाई जातीं बल्कि माघ्यस्थम् की कार्रवाइयों में सहायता करने के लिए भी प्रयोग की जाती हैं क्योंकि न्यायालय के समान माध्यस्थम् के पास ऐसी कोई शक्तियां नहीं होती .
