All evangelical sects-from Christian churches to the Scientologists and the Moonies-harbor dreams of eventual universality. But Muslims today comprise just 1 to 2 percent of America's population, and are largely confined to America's blacks. Many of them belong to the Nation of Islam, which does not follow any legitimate version of Islam, preaching instead a doctrine that is a mishmash of UFO-ology and racism.
