It may also seem silly on the part of the digger wasp that having found the cricket at the bottom of its burrow it does not sting it right then and there , but first drives it out on the open ground and runs the risk of chase and possible escape of the cricket . खनक-बर्र का यह व्यवहार भी मूर्खतापूर्ण लग सकता है कि झींगुर को उसी के बिल में पाकर भी उसे उसी वक़्त और वहीं की वहीं डंक नहीं मारती बल्कि पहले उसे खदेड़कर खुले मैदान में बाहर निकालती है और उसका पीछा करने तथा उसके बच निकलने का जोखिम उठाती है .
