Team members must feel collectively committed not only to the meaning and purpose of the organization, but also to the individual well being of each member as far as questions arising from the work situation are concerned, such as work overload, lack of information or skills, etc . Helping or being helped should be a very common way of sharing knowledge and responsibility.

These differences between the age and gender of workers indicate differences in career phase, where young ( male ) workers are more likely to put up with or expect work overload, while middle-aged workers tend to be approaching their peak and may expect some concessions ( e . g ., based on track record, merit, or currency to the organization ).

Many of these educators suffer from : work overload; lack of appropriate reward and recognition for their work; unrealistic and / or idealistic expectations from those they serve or those they work with; pervasive feelings of lack of control in their profession; lack of positive feedback from students and parents; working environments that are overcrowded, outdated or in high crime areas; and personal pressures produced by the need to take care of their own families.
