The United Nations'world population conference, to be held Sept . 5-13 in Cairo, has aroused the anger of both Pope John Paul II and some Muslim authorities, including theologians at Cairo's influential Al Azhar Islamic University, who have assailed the draft of a document that they say would seek to limit world population growth by promoting abortion and contraception.
