Output of raw jute must be stabilised and quality improved , R&D work must be undertaken to bring about changes in product mix in response to changing demand , and a modernisation programme must be launched to increase productivity and efficiency of the mills . कच्चे जूट के उत्पादन में स्थायित्व लाना होगा , गुणवत्ता बढ़ानी होगी , तथा शोधकार्य भी हाथ में लेना होगा जिससे कि बदलती मांग के अनुसार उत्पाद में भी उचित परिवर्तन किये जा सकें , आधुनिकीकरण कार्यक्रम शुरू करने होंगे जिससे मिल की उत्पादकता और कार्यकुशलता में वृद्धि की जा सके .
