If there be any Mohammedans who still , after reading the discussions at the third Congress , feel themselves unable to accept the resolutions or any of them which have already been passed , that is another matter , but as regards all those who , though approving what has been done , yet hesitate to take an active part in the movement , for fear lest some resolutions repugnant to Muslim feelings should be carried , I do hope that the assurance I have now been able to give them will convince them of the propriety of joining in an undertaking , in the success of which we are quite as deeply interested as either Hindus , Parsees or Christians . ” यदि ऐसे मुसलमान हैं जो तीसरे कांगेस सम्मेलन की कार्यवाहियों के अध्ययन के बाद अपने को इन प्रस्तावों को , या उससे पहले पारित प्रस्तावों को स्वीकार करने में असमर्थ पाते हैं तो यह और बात है.परंतु उनलोगों के मामले में जो अब तक की कार्यवाही हो स्वीकार करने के बावजूद आंदोलन में सक्रिय भागीदारी से इस कारण हिचकिचाते हैं कि मुस्लिम भावनाओं के प्रतिकूल कोई प्रस्ताव पारित न हो जाये , मै आशा करता हूं कि जो आश्वासन मैं अब दे पाया हूं उन्हें उस उत्तरदायित्व को निभाने में शामिल होने के औचित्य से कायल कर देगा.जिसकी सफलता में हमारी उतनी ही गहरी रूचि है जितनी हिंदुओं , पारसियों अथवा ईसाइयों की .
