Soon afterwards , the Buddha visited Rajagriha , the Magadhan capital , accompanied by the monks who were his followers . कुछ समय पश्चात गौतम बुद्ध अपने शिष्यों के साथ मगध की राजधानी राजगृह

The Buddha was the undisputed leader of the Sangha , and Devadatta grew envious of him . गौतम बुद्ध संघ के सर्वोपरि नेता थे पर उनकी ख़्याति देवदत्त को फूटी आंखों नहीं सुहाती थी .

On his kingly duties the Buddha said , ” Regard your people as men do an only son . जनता के प्रति उनके कर्तव्यों के बारे में गौतम बुद्ध ने कह , ? ? अपनी प्रजा को संतानवत प्यार करो .

The minister and his men arrived when the Buddha was preaching to a large gathering of people . जिस समय गौतम बुद्ध राजगृह में एक विशाल सभा को संबोधित कर रहे थे उसी समय ये लोग वहां पहूंचे .

It was during this visit to Rajagriha that the Buddha converted Sanputra and Moggallana . राजगृह की इसी यात्रा के दौरान गौतम बुद्ध ने सारिपुत्र एवं मोग़्गलान को बौद्ध धर्म की दीक्षा दी .
