The extant colophons indicate that the art of the parivadini -LRB- a stringed lute -RRB- called Vidya-parivadini was enunciated by a Gunasena , and the notations were got inscribed for the benefit of the votaries by a king who was a great Saiva or Paramamahesvara , and a disciple of Rudracharya . विद्यमान पुष्पिकाएं संकेत देती है कि परिवादिनी ( तंत्रीयुक़्त वीणा ) की कला या ' विद्या परिवादिनी ' किसी गुणसेन द्वारा प्रतिपादित की गई थी और एक महान शैव या परममाहेश्वर नरेश और रूद्राचार्य के शिष्य द्वारा शौकीनों के लाभ के लिए उत्कीर्ण करवाई गई थी .

Unless the majority are wise and prudent enough to give adequate attention to the real or imaginary grievances of the minorities and make a sincere effort to satisfy them , the dissatisfaction of the minorities , which appears to be an insignificant rift in the lute , may some day disturb the whole harmony of national life . जब तक बहुसंख़्क , समाज के अल्पसंख़्यकों की वास्तविक या संभावित कठिनाइयों की ओर बुद्धिमत्ता से ध्यान नही देंगे और उन्हें संतुष्ट करने के लिए ईमानदारी से प्रयत्न नहीं करेगे , अल्पसंख़्यकों को असंतोष , जो वीणा में एक साधारण खिचांव मात्र प्रतीत होता है , किसी दिन राष्ट्रीय जीवन में संपूर्ण पारस्परिक सदभावना के वातावरण को नष्ट कर देगा .

AS we sit and listen to a programme of the vichitra veena or even the Rudra veena , does it ever occur to us that these complicated and ancient instruments might have had their humble origins in the ronza gontam of Andhra or the gintang of Assam : a zither made of a short length of bamboo with one or two strips of its bark raised to form ' strings ' beaten with a small stick ? जब हम विचित्र वीणा या रुद्र वीणा का कार्यक्रम सुनते हैं तो क्या हमारे मस्तिष्क में कभी यह भी आता है कि इन जटिल और प्राचीन वाद्यों का मूल स्त्रोत आंध्र के रोंज़ा गोंतम या असम के गिंटांग नामक ऐसे नगण्य समझे जाने वाले तंत्र-वाद्यों में संभव है , जो बांस के छोटे टुकड़े से बने होते हैं तथा जिनके तार उसी बांस की छाल को थोड़ा ऊपर की ओर उभार कर बना लिए जाते हैं तथा उन पर लकड़ी की छोटी-सी छड़ी से आघात करके स्वर पैदा किया जाता है ?
