I refrain from suggesting specific steps Israel should take in part because I am not Israeli, and in part because discussing tactics to win is premature before victory is the policy. Suffice to say that the Palestinian Arabs derive immense succor and strength from a worldwide network of support from NGOs, editorialists, academics, and politicians; that the manufactured Palestinian Arab “refugee” problem stands at the dank heart of the conflict, and that the lack of international recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital festers. These three issues are clearly priorities. पश्चिमी तट से फिलीस्तीनी अरबवासियों को स्थानान्तरित करने का आक्रामक कदम इजरायल के लिये उल्टा पड़ सकता है. इससे गुस्सा और बढ़ेगा, शत्रुओं की संख्या में वृद्धि होगी तथा संघर्ष शाश्वत हो जायेगा.

Keeping in view these conceptions of atma and Brahma it is possible to understand the essence of the teachings of the Upanishads expressed in the aphorism “ atma is Brahma ” or “ Thou art It ” that is to say the universal being which is the reality behind the physical world is the same as universal consciousness which is the reality behind the human mind . इसका अर्थ यह है एक जीव का अपने स्वंय के ध्यान में रखते हुए , सूक़्तियों में व्यक़्त उपनिषद् को शिक्षा का सार तत्व समझना संभव है कि “ आत्मा ब्रह्मा है ” या “ तेरी यह कृति है ” अर्थात् यह कहना चाहिए कि शाश्वत जो भौतिक संसार के पीछे की वास्तविकता है , वही है जैसी कि शाश्वत चेतना जो कि मानव मस्तिष्क के पीछे की वास्तविकता है .

Eternal capital : Israel's President Ezer Weizman reminded Pope John Paul II en route to his visit to Jerusalem in March 2000 that the city remains Israel's “eternal” capital. A day later, Arafat welcomed the pontiff to “Palestine and its eternal capital, Jerusalem.” Jewish and Muslim religious leaders meeting with the pope likewise spoke of Jerusalem as their eternal capital. शाश्वत राजधानी-इजरायल के प्रधानमन्त्री अजर बेजमान ने मार्च 2000 में पोप जॉन पॉल की जेरूसलम की यात्रा के दौरान उनसे कहा था कि यह शहर इजरायल की शाश्वत राजधानी है. एक दिन पश्चात अराफात ने पोप का स्वागत फिलीस्तीन और उसकी शाश्वत राजधानी जेरूसलम में किया. पोप से मुलाकात करने वाले यहूदी और मुस्लिम धार्मिक नेताओं ने भी इसी प्रकार जेरूसलम को अपनी शाश्वत राजधानी बताया.
