It is more or less a circular monolithic temple cut out of an isolated mass of sandstone rock and carved into a hemisphere mounted on a base and capped by a flat stone in the form of a tawa -LRB- griddle -RRB- which , according to the inscription on it , was fashioned by a minister of Chandragupta . यह न्यूनाधिक एक गोलाकार एकाश्मक मंदिर है , जो बालुकाश्म शैल के एक अकेले पुंज में से काटा गया है और एक आधार मंच पर गोलार्ध में तराश कर उस पर तवे के आकार का एक सपाट पत्थर का छत्र रखा गया है , जिसकी संकल्पना , उस पर खुदे अभिलेख के अनुसार चंद्रगुप्त के एक मंत्री द्वारा की गई थी .

The latter are numerous islands , which become , so to speak , decrepit , are dissolved and flatten- ed , and finally disappear below the water , whilst at the same time other formations of the same kind begin to appear above the water like a streak of sand which continually grows and rises and extends . दीबजात अनेक द्वीपों का समूह है जो जर्जर होते-होते जल में विलीन हो जाते हैं और उनका तल सपाट हो जाता है और अंतत : वे जल के नीचे लुप्त हो जाते हैं.साथ ही दूसरी ओर उसी प्रकार की संरचनाएं बालू की धारी की भांति जल के उपर उभरने लगती हैं और यही धारी लगातार बढ़ती , ऊपर को आती और फैलती जाती है .
