” The flowers have been growing thorns for millions of years . For millions of years the sheep have been eating them just the same . And is it not a matter of consequence to try to understand why the flowers go to so much trouble to grow thorns which are never of any use to them ? ” हज़ारों साल से फूल - काँटे उगाते आ रहे हैं , और हज़ारों साल से मेमने फूलों को खाते आ रहे हैं , और फिर भी यह पता लगाने की कोशिश करना कि किस कारण फूल उन काँटों की रचना करने में इतना कष्ट उठाते हैं , जो किसी काम नहीं आते , महत्त्वपूर्ण नहीं है ?
