Afghani and Afghanistani have always been dealt with together, and you have not provided a reason that they should not be treated the same now there is precedent for dealing with them in one poll, and there is a substantial reason as well : both are alternative demonyms which are sourced, but used far less than is the primary demonym, Afghan.
