:: I'm in the UK, so your foliage may differ, but that looks identical to the wild blackberry ( " a widespread, and well known group of several hundred species, many of which are closely related apomictic microspecies native throughout the temperate Northern hemisphere " ) or bramble that has latterly taken over my back garden ( gardening is not my favourite occupation ).
