While Deobund had the vague , undefined idealistic aim of returning to the early days of Islam , Aligarh had the definite , realistic and limited object of adjustment to present material circumstances . जहां देवबंद का का अस्पष्ट , अपरिभाषति , इस्लाम के प्रारंभिक दिनों की स्थिति की ओर लौटने को आदर्श ध्येय था , वहां अलीगढ़ का वर्तमान भौतिक परिस्थितियों के साथ सामजंस्य स्थापित करने का निश्चित यथार्थवादी सीमित उZद्देश्य था .
