Re the link posted above by User : Atlant, this page ( linked from it ) is of particular interest, and specifically the bit that says : " An interesting question concerns what would happen to water cooled below 0�C within a vessel that cannot change its volume ( isochoric cooling ) . . . " I won't paste an extended quotation here because of copyright, but you'll see that it goes on to say that it won't freeze until at least-109�C and maybe never . & mdash; "'01 : 13, 3 January 2007 ( UTC)
