In 1970 he and his sister, Olwyn ( 26 August 1928 3 January 2016 ), set up the Rainbow Press, which published sixteen titles between 1971 and 1981, comprising poems by Sylvia Plath, Ted Hughes, Ruth Fainlight, Thom Gunn and Seamus Heaney, printed by Daedalus Press, Rampant Lions Press and the John Roberts Press.

This symbol is derived from the coat of arms of the Naselli family, to which it greatly resembles apart for the following details : there are four red spheres instead of three golden ones; the spheres are placed in a central ribbon across the shield and not at the bottom; the rampant lion is shown whole, as opposed to being partially covered by the ribbon.

Most Canadians would probably be hard put to describe their country's coat of arms, a complicated amalgam of rampant lions, unicorns, maple leaves, fleur-de-lys, crowns, flags, harps and thistles appearing over the country's official motto : ( itals ) A Mari Usque Ad Mare ( unitals )-- " From Sea to Sea ."

Two unique horse prints are found only in Kingdoms sets : a pair of white horses with printed harnesses ( 7188 King's Carriage Ambush ), and a dappled grey cart horse ( 7189 Mill Village Raid . ) This theme also marked a welcome return to the full-body rampant lion motif, rather than the decapitated lion head used in the Royal Knights, Knight's Kingdom I, and Knight's Kingdom II.

In a departure from the previous reigns the reverse featured a totally new design of a large crowned shield which bore the arms of France in the first quarter, of Scotland in the second quarter, of Ireland in the third quarter, and of England in the fourth quarter, the whole ensemble having a small shield in the centre bearing the rampant lion of Nassau; the legend on the obverse read MAG BR FR ET HIB REX ET REGINA date.

Fox-Davies further notes that the lions depicted in the royal arms of England, though passant guardant, have never represented anything other than " lions ", also pointing out that another ancient ( if controversial ) rule distinguishing leopards from lions dictated that while several leopards could appear on one shield, there could not be more than one lion on the shield ( with the apparent exception of two lions combatant ); multiple rampant lions on one shield were called " lioncels ".
