In the September issue of the journal Restoration Ecology, Hubbard Brook scientists report the first findings of their calcium study, showing they cut acidity in a 50-meter section of a stream by adding woolastonite, a brilliant-white form of calcium silicate used to make paint whiter.

J ., landfill, as a pilot for revegetating degraded areas along the New Jersey Turnpike.
