The Ladkhan is a ponderous construction , essentially a large mandapa standing on a moulded adhishthana with four central pillars , surrounded by two concentric rows of successively lesser height , so that the flat roof over the centre is a raised clerestory , with the slab roofs sloping down on all the four sides over the outer rings of the shorter pillars . लडखन एक भारी भरकम निर्माण है , जो निश्चित रूप से एक ढले हुए अधिष्ठान पर मंडप के रूप में खड़ा है जिसमें चार केंद्रीय स्तंभ , उत्तरोत्तर कम होती ऊँचाई के स्तंभों की दों संकेंद्रित पंक़्तियों से घिरे हुए हैं , जिससे बीच में उठी हुई छत में रोशनदान बन गए हैं और छोटे स्तंभों के बाहरी वृत्तों पर चारों और पत्थर की पट्टियों की छत ढलवां आकार ले लेती है .
