Most of those waiting in " The Waiting Game " are waiting for roles as actors, and while they wait, they wait on tables at a Manhattan restaurant called Peter's Backyard, one of those places that will seem familiar to anyone who has ever hurried through dinner on the West Side in the mid-40s to make an 8 o'clock Broadway curtain.
