I blocked what I thought was a garden-variety dialup IP address and got a very angry response.

As before, these are AOL dialup IPs; editors often use AOL dialup accounts to avoid exact CU matches.

Took another look today, & another SBB dialup IP ( 87.116.171.209 ) reverted all of these changes.

And the IP number is awfully close to these other anonymous editors who've been editing these articles ( including the now deleted Lawrence Eliezer Kepecs one ), perhaps because they're all Verizon New York City dialup IPs.

Nor am I that 80 . something-IP ( which however is a dialup IP from Germany of the same ISP I am using, but that's hardly a coincidence as T-Online is the biggest in Germany ).

On May 14 2008, Bassettcat edited from his normal IP range at both 00 : 12 and 00 : 15, followed by an edit made on a second IP in a different city at 00 : 18, and then an edit at his normal dialup IP at 00 : 21.
