This pseudo-cubic character of leucite is very similar to that of the mineral boracite.

Boracite is typically found in evaporite sequences associated with gypsum, anhydrite, halite, sylvite, carnallite, kainite and hilgardite.

It is also found as a constituent of many naturally occurring minerals borax, boracite, ulexite ( boronatrocalcite ) and colemanite.

There is also agriculture produced in the surrounding areas, producing products like cereals, sheep wool and meat, cattle, grain and the mineral boracite.

It is known to occur in over a hundred different minerals and ores, however : the main source is borax, but it is also found in colemanite, boracite, kernite, tusionite, berborite and fluoborite.
