Later on he did a postdoctoral stay at the Institute of Cancerology and Imnunogemetics at Villejuif, France.

In 1989 he continued his university studies and graduated as a Doctor of Medicine, in 1992 he obtained an Advanced Specialised Studies Degree in Cancerology . 1994 he defended his thesis in immunology on the Signals that regulate the formation of B lymphocytes.
