Sushruta -LRB- 600 B.C . -RRB- classified diabetes into two groups : one is congenital which is due to a defect in the seeds of the parents , and the other is due to injudicious feeding and irregular way of living . सुश्रुत ( 600 ई . पू . ) ने मधुमेह को दो वर्गो मे विभाजित किया-पहली अवस्था जन्मजात होती है और माता-पिता के बीजों के दोष के कारण होती है तथा दूसरी अविवेकपूर्ण खान-पान तथा अनियमित जीवन-पद्धत्L के कारण होती है
