The firefly Lamprophorus nepalensis is common in Nepal and the crock-beetle Autocrates aeveus with powerful mandibles and the staghorn beetles are typical forest-dwellers of the East Himalaya . लैम्प्रोफोरस नेपालेन्सिस जुगनू नेपाल में सामान्यतया पाया जाता है और मजबूत जबड़ों वाला अटोक्रेटीज एवियस क्रॉक-भृंग तथा महामृग-भृंग पूर्वी ओडनोटोलैबिस क़्यूबेरा तथा डोर्कस एंटियस तथा Zहेमीसोडोर्कस नेपालेन्सि हिमालय के आम भृंग हैं .
