A sire , whose dam is a poor milker , should not be used as a stud for milch goats . दुधारू बकरियों की नस्ल सुधारने के लिए ऐसे बकरे का प्रयोग नहीं किया जाना चाहिए जिसकी मां पर्याप्त दूध न देती रही हो .

Before milking , the milker should wash his hands properly and the udder and teats should be wiped with a clean damp cloth . दुहने से पहले दुहने वाले व्यक़्ति को अपने हाथ अच्छी तरह धो लेने चाहिएं.अयन तथा थनों को साफ करके गीले कपड़े से पोंछ लेना चाहिए .
