The Central Legislature , though more representative than the previous Legislative Councils and endowed , for the first time , with power to vote supplies , had no power to replace the government and even its powers in the field of legislation and financial control were limited and subject to the Overriding powers of the Governor-General . केंद्रीय विधानमंडल का सऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-वरूप यद्यपि पहली विधान परिषदों की अपेक्षा अधिक प्रतिनिधिक था और उसे पहली बार आपूर्तियों की सऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-वीऋति देने की शि> प्रापऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-त थी तथापि उसे सरकार को बदलने की शि> प्रापऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-त नहीं थी.विधान बनाने तथा वियां सीमित थीं और वे गवर्नर्रजनरल की सर्वोपरि शि>यों के अधऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-यधीन थी .
