In the village the deities are taken around in their palanquins . इस दिन देवता को पालकी में बिठाकर सारे गांव में घुमाया जाता है .

Except in the Lahaul area , the bride and the groom are carried in palanquins . लाहौल क्षेत्र को छोड़कर अन्यत्र सभी स्थानों पर वर-वधू पालकियों में जाते है .

In the Chamba , Bharmer and Kangra areas also , similar processions of gods are brought out in palanquins and taken round the fair grounds . चंबा , भरमौर कांगड़ा रेणुका आदि स्थानों पर आZयोजित धार्मिक मेलों में भी इसी प्रकार देवी-देवताओं को रथों-पालकियों में सजाकर मेले की परिक्रमाएं करवाई जाती है .
